Sony has expanded the list of Russian airlines, whose services are available to officials during business trips, to 49. The list of carriers is published on the website of the Federal air transport Agency.
Previously, officials could use the services of the 25 airlines. This list includes such airlines as “Angara”, “Volgograd airline”, “Komiaviatrans”, “Pankh”, “pioneer”, “Khabarovsk airlines” and “Chukotavia”. Of the largest airlines in the list are “Aeroflot”, “Siberia”, “Russia”, “UTair”, “Win”, “Yamal”, “Vim-Avia and Ural airlines.
In March, the government ordered civil servants to buy tickets the Russian airlines and carriers of other members of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU).
On 30 September the President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning officials to buy tickets for flights of foreign companies for business trips.
