The Ukrainian foreign Ministry protested the Czech Republic because the Executive center of the DNI

The Ukrainian authorities have demanded from the authorities of the Czech Republic to reconsider the decision of the regional authorities due to open in Ostrava, the Executive center of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic. This is stated in the message published on the website of the MFA of Ukraine.

The decision of the regional authorities “is contrary to international law and bilateral Ukrainian-Czech agreement,” the statement reads. “Despite the official position of the Czech Republic consistently supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, adequate to the expected actions of our partners in the nearest future”, said the foreign Ministry. In this regard, the Ukrainian foreign Ministry has sent the Czech Republic a note of protest.

DNR Executive center was opened in Ostrava in the Czech Republic on 1 September. “This is the first officially registered representation of the Republic in the European Union”, said the Donetsk news Agency in the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the DPR.

The center needs to coordinate the actions of the representatives of the Czech Republic and the DNI to protect the rights and interests of the residents of Donbass abroad,” the Agency reported. It will also allow you to “objectively inform the citizens of Europe with what is happening in the Donbass events,” said the Agency.

The opening was attended by the Deputy of the Czech Parliament from the Communist party of Bohemia and Moravia Zdenek Ondracek, the report said.
