After several hours of voting the Brazilian senators finally deprived of presidential powers temporarily discharged the head of state Dilma Rousseff. 81 senators 61 supported accusations of budget fraud, which was the process of impeachment. For efficient removal of the President from power and required a two-thirds majority of senators (i.e., at least 54 votes).
In other developments presidential powers Rousseff would expire on 31 December 2018. Now through the end of this period, Brazil will be headed by Vice-President Michel Temer.
