Egypt awaits the soon return of Russian tourists to the country. This was stated by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in an interview with three national Newspapers, which have not yet been published in its entirety.
“Look forward to the return of Russian tourism to Egypt in the near future”, — quotes the edition of Al Ahram.
The head of Ministry of transport Maxim Sokolov said that Charter flights from Russia to Egypt are going to resume not all, of the airport, and one on attainment of the required level of security. However, he noted that to talk about the resumption of Charter and regular flights between the two countries only when they performed all activities on the airport.
Flights between Russia and Egypt was terminated after over the Sinai Peninsula on 31 October 2015, the crashed plane “Kogalymavia”. On Board of the Airbus A321, which was flying from Sharm El Sheikh to Saint Petersburg, there was a terrorist attack, which killed 224 people.
In July, Sokolov reported that in Russia there was 17 comments on security in the airports of Egypt. After eliminating observations in Egypt will be sent to the delegation, the Minister noted.
