Moscow authorities have agreed on a meeting against the “Spring law” in Sokolniki

Moscow authorities agreed to conduct a rally of the “law of Spring” on 9 August in Sokolniki. About it RIA Novosti said the first Deputy head of the Moscow Department of regional security Vasily Oleynik.

The organizers of the rally wanted to hold a rally at the Yauza gates. However, the head of the Department Alexei Mayorov reported on Friday that the government proposed to move it in Sokolniki. The number should not exceed 1000 people.

The organizers filed an application to hold a rally on July 26. The Moscow authorities first proposed to hold a rally at a monument to border Guards of the Fatherland in the Park at the Yauza Gates. The organizers agreed to this, however, the municipality reneged on the agreement. The Tverskoy district court upheld the refusal of the authorities of Moscow in carrying out a previously agreed action.

However, in other large cities of Russia, the rally against the “anti-terrorism package” was held on 26 July as planned. In Novosibirsk came to the event to 200 people, in Yekaterinburg — 150 people. Rallies were also held in Ufa, Kurgan, Kazan and Volgograd.
