On 87-m to year of life has died the writer Fazil Iskander, reports “Echo of Moscow” with reference to the Chairman of the Union of writers of Russia Valery Ganicheva.
Informed of his death wrote a Life citing a source in medical circles. According to the newspaper, Iskander felt ill, lost consciousness, and then relatives called him an ambulance.
Fazil Iskander was born on 6 March 1929 in Sukhumi (Abkhazia). He is known for such works “Constellation Kozlotura”, “Sandro from Chegem”, “Rabbits and Boas”, “Sofijka”.
