Transport aircraft an-124 “Ruslan”

According to the newspaper “Kommersant”, this question has been discussed with the main operators of “Ruslan” – GK “Volga-Dnepr” and the Russian air force.
The publication indicates that if the decision on transfer of the renewal process of the resource “Aviation complex named Ilyushin” is taken, it may cause the protest to the Ukrainian side. When changes are made by the Russian side, Kiev will have the right to intervene in the operation of these courts outside Russia, where they are basically used.
According to the newspaper, tensions with the “Antonov” can not be avoided, however, Russia has the additional instrument of pressure, as the Ukrainian company “Motor Sich” holds to re-engine helicopters Mi-2 and Mi-8 without the participation of Russian developers.
