Vladimir Putin changed the leadership of the Yaroslavl region. As reported a press-service of the Kremlin, resignation sent to the Governor Sergei Yastrebov. In his place acting appointed Lieutenant-General of police Dmitry Mironov, who until this time was the Deputy Minister of internal Affairs.
Mironov, according to his official biography, from 1990 to 2013, he served in the KGB and the organs of state security. In February 2014 he was appointed first Deputy chief of the criminal investigation Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs. From 12 may 2014 to December 2015 Dmitry Mironov headed the Main Directorate of economic security and combating corruption of the interior Ministry.
