In Turkey detained 2839 rebels who were trying to commit a coup. This was announced by Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, reports Reuters.
According to him, among the detainees as ordinary soldiers and senior-level officers. The politician also said that the clashes killed 161 people, 1,440 people were injured. Among the rebels killed about 20 people, another 30 were injured, said Yildirim.
He added that for the attack is the Kurdistan workers ‘ party (PKK). Yildirim noted that the detention of the coup is still ongoing.
Earlier, the acting head of the General staff of the country Umit Dundar reported that the clashes killed 104 rebels and 47 civilians.
