NATO’s final Declaration called on Russia to dialogue

The Declaration underlines the need of communication with Russia with the aim of clarifying positions and in the first place to “minimize the risk of military incidents” through mutual transparency.

“We will strive for constructive cooperation with Russia, when Moscow’s actions allows to do it”, – stated in the sixth paragraph of the document on relations with Russia.

In the first paragraph of the Declaration States that NATO members are facing unprecedented security challenges, among which are terrorism, the actions of Russia (especially in Ukraine”), undermining the basic order in Europe and the instability in the middle East and North Africa.
