A modernized “Soyuz MS” docked to the ISS

Manned spacecraft “Soyuz MS”, started from Baikonur on July 7, docked to the International space station. About it “Interfax” reports with reference to the mission control Center.

The spacecraft delivered to the ISS next expedition, consisting of Roscosmos cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin, astronaut, JAXA and NASA Takuya Onishi and Kathleen Rubins.

“We hope that with the help of experiments will be able to develop a set of measures aimed at preventing changes during long-duration missions the astronauts, it also has applications on Earth in the diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases associated with increased intracranial pressure and will contribute to their solution”, — said the commander of the ship Ivanishin.

The launch of the “Soyuz MS” postponed several times. In April, the launch of “Soyuz MS” was moved from June 21 to June 24, and June 6, the launch was postponed from 24 June to 7 July. On 7 July, the ship was still running.
