The Associated Press brought the robot to the writing of sports news

The American news Agency Associated Press has attracted the robot to the writing materials on the matches of the Junior League baseball Minor League Baseball that were not previously covered in the media.

To generate text using a program Automated Insights, the company as well as the data portal Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), covering the matches of the Major League baseball (MLB).

Written by robot lyrics check AP journalists who write about baseball, to ensure their compliance with the Agency standards. Materials cover the matches with the participation of 142 teams, distributed across 13 of the lower leagues.

The generation of texts is performed using the Wordsmith program, developed by Automated Insights. Since the beginning of 2015 AP uses the robot for writing about the financial statements of the companies for the quarter. Quarterly publishes more than 3500 of such notes.
