The CPS was sent to the who request because of the situation in the Odessa region

Rospotrebnadzor warned the Russians about the epidemic of acute intestinal infections in the city of Izmail in Odessa region. In this regard, the Ministry advises to consider this situation when planning trips to this region of Ukraine, reported on the website of Rospotrebnadzor.

That more than 300 people were poisoned in Ishmael because of water pollution, said the region’s Governor Mikhail Saakashvili last week. Official information about the causes and pathogens of the epidemic is missing. In this regard, the Russian authorities sent a request to the world health organization.

Now, according to the Agency, “the situation is not localized within one incubation period, the increase in the number hospitalized for the past day in-patient treatment received 33 people, including 24 children”. According to the CPS, were hospitalized in all 678 people, of whom 386 are children.

The Agency has strengthened sanitary and quarantine control in respect of the Russians who reside in Ukraine. Monitoring of the epidemiological situation in the border areas, “enhanced laboratory control over water objects”.

In fact the mass poisoning criminal case is brought. The city declared a state of emergency, which will probably last until tomorrow. Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman, in turn, instructed “to take measures for localization and liquidation of outbreaks of acute intestinal infection”.
