Victims of a terrorist attack on a hotel in Somalia were 15 people

In the Somali capital Mogadishu terrorist group al-Shabab attacked the hotel. First, a suicide bomber blew up a car near the hotel entrance, and then inside the building broke armed with guns of the militants who seized the hostages, informs Bi-bi-si.

As a result of fighting killed at least 15 people — mostly bystanders and guards of the hotel. Another 25 people were injured varying degrees of severity.

The terrorists told Reuters that the attack on the hotel was due to the fact that it is often members of the Somali government. However, eyewitnesses claimed that the terrorists staged a shooting indiscriminately at hotel guests.

Later, law enforcement officers managed to enter the hotel and killing at least two attackers. The total number of terrorists is not yet known.
