As pointed out by Reuters, citing the London-based Syrian Observatory for human rights said that as a result of airstrike on the village of al-Curia near the city of Deir ez-Zor killed 47 people, including 31 civilians. The Agency reports that the RAID staged “Syrian or Russian military aircraft”.
The reaction of the Syrian authorities to these reports has yet been received.
The Ministry of defense of Russia has repeatedly stressed that the aircraft of the Russian air force does not strike at civilians in Syria.
The village of al-Curia is located in the middle of the road between Deir ez-Zor and the Iraqi border. This area is controlled by the group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia as a terrorist organization).
The city of Deir ez-Zor is partially controlled by Syrian government forces, surrounded on all sides by militia. Loyal to President Bashar al-Assad’s troops in recent weeks trying to break the resistance of terrorists and to restore a link with Deir-ez-Zor, which is surrounded by including the oil fields.
