Foreign Minister of Britain announced the intention of Cameron to remain as Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of great Britain David Cameron intends to remain at the head of the government, despite the loss of the campaign for UK remaining in the EU. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain Philip Hammond.

“It was clear that whatever the outcome of this referendum he will continue to work as Prime Minister,” said Hammond. He added that the UK needs a sense of stability and continuity.

On June 24 in the UK in a referendum on Brexit won supporters of the country’s withdrawal from the EU. For Brexit voted most residents of England and Wales, against Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The leader of the campaign for withdrawal from the EU, Matthew Elliott said that the Conservative party is willing the resignation of Cameron. But most, he noted, expressed a desire that Cameron remained and carried out his decision for the immediate commencement of negotiations for the country’s exit from the EU.
