Moscow Department of social protection sends a claim about cancellation of the contract with the owner of the camp in Karelia, vacationing in which children died on the Syamozero. The journalists said the Deputy head of the Department Olga Gracheva, reports “Interfax”.
“We sent a formal complaint to [the owner of the camp Elena] Reshetova, and then enter the stage of the arbitration process, because we believe that the summer camp should bring not only moral responsibility but also financial responsibility, in particular to repair the damage that was caused to the parents of the children,” she said.
The representative of Department emphasized that the concluded contract provides for mandatory liability insurance, life and health of children.
“Those who planned to vacation in Karelia, we offer other options health tourism”, she added, noting that after the tragedy on the Syamozero nobody refused the vouchers.
