The son of a former Vice head of the Ulyanovsk region was sentenced for the shooting

The court sentenced 26-year-old son of former Vice-Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Eduard Zinnurov to 6,5 years of a colony of strict regime on charges of assaulting a police officer. This was reported on the website of the regional Prosecutor’s office.

As specified in the message, the court recognized Zinnurov guilty of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, committed by a group of persons (paragraph”a” of part 3 of article 111 of the criminal code), maltreatment (part 1 of article 116 of the criminal code), murder threats (part 1 of article 119 of the criminal code) and extortion committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (paragraph”a” of part 2 of article 163 of the criminal code).

Other defendants in the case, Mr. yahiev and Camille Aleev, received four years and one month and four years in a strict regime colony, respectively.

The incident occurred in late December of last year in the yard of one of houses along the street of Robespierre in the Leninsky district of Ulyanovsk. According to investigators, convicted during the conflict with the use of traumatic weapons caused injuries to 27-year-old policeman.

The victim was the son of chief MO BARYShSKIJj, former head of the regional police Sergei Arapov. He received two bullets from a traumatic gun, one of which hit him in the head.

In addition, the court found that in 2010, Zinnurov, together with a 30-year-old Marat Jafarova and 27-year-old Ivan Semenovym under the false pretext extorted from the inhabitant of Kazan of 50 thousand.

Jafarov and Semyanov were found guilty of extortion committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (paragraph”a” of part 2 of article 163 of the criminal code). Of yafarov was sentenced to 5 years 8 months of penal colony. Semyanov received 2 years 1 month of conditional imprisonment.
