In the Kremlin called “absurd” the idea of strengthening the troops on the border with Belarus

The question on strengthening the grouping of troops on the border with Belarus seems to be the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov “absurd”. He said this to journalists, the correspondent of RBC.

“I know nothing about it. To speak about the strengthening of groups on the border with Belarus would be an exaggeration”, — said Peskov.

Earlier, the Ukrainian edition Obozrevatelya with reference to the volunteer community InformNapalm reported that the Russian command deploys along the Belarusian and Ukrainian borders, new military bases with a significant potential impact. In particular, it was said that the soldiers of the 28th ASBR from Yekaterinburg on may 24, arrived in Klintsy Bryansk region.

In September 2015 the President of Russia Vladimir Putin ordered to sign an agreement on creation in Belarus of a Russian airbase. Then Belarus began to protest against the establishment of bases, and in early October the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he did not discuss with Russia the issue of its creation.
