In case of fire in a nursing home near Kiev, killing 17 people

According to the head of the State service for emergency situations Nikolay Chechetkina, quoted by UNN, in case of fire in the village Litochky near Kiev, killing 17 people.

Chechetkin said that the bodies of 16 people has already been found. “Looking for a single man continue,” he added.

According to him, the fire almost eliminated the police conduct investigative and operational activities. Chechetkin said that the police and SES were not aware of the existence of this “nursing homes”, reports “Interfax— Ukraine”.

Chechetkin also said that, according to the order of Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, created the Commission on investigation of an incident of national significance. A Commission headed by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services Gennady Zubko.

Earlier it was reported about the seven victims during the fire.

As noted in GS emergency, according to preliminary data, at the time of ignition in the territory of a private household in a two-story building that provided temporary accommodation of older persons was 35 people. 18 people were rescued, 5 people with burns of different severity were hospitalized.
