The Russian side received the documents on extradition of the Ukrainian pilots Hope Savchenko in Russia sentenced to 22 years in prison, said justice Minister Alexander Konovalov, the correspondent of RBC
“The package [of documents] on the transfer of Ukrainian pilots Hope Savchenko Ukraine did, there is a collection and verification of documents” — Konovalov said at a briefing during the VI St. Petersburg international legal forum.

The issues of extradition of convicted persons are resolved on the basis of the Convention on the transfer of sentenced persons of 1983 and the Criminal procedure code of Russia and Ukraine.
