Singer Jamal, representing Ukraine, took 1st place at the song contest “Eurovision”. She scored the maximum score according to the results of voting of professional jury and audience voting.
This year contest participants was evaluated in two stages — first its assessment of wistari representatives of the professional jury of the participating countries, and then these results are added the results of the audience voting.

The singer has performed a song titled “1944” is dedicated to the deportation of the Crimean Tatars. Jamal, born in a family of Crimean Tatar and Armenian women written by her specifically for the qualifying round of the competition. The song was sung in two languages — English and Crimean Tatar.
Sergey Lazarev, representing Russia, took third place.
