Nissan recall 3.5 million vehicles because of airbags

Nissan has announced the recall of 3.53 million vehicles worldwide, explaining their decision by the possibility of a malfunction of the airbags due to malfunction of road sensors, according to Reuters.

Under review were released in 2013-2016 car models Altima, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Sentra, Rogue, NV200, NV Taxi, and Infiniti JX35/QX60 and Q50.

Almost 3.2 million recalled vehicles were sold in the USA.

In the beginning of 2016 after an accident in South Carolina, where due to a malfunction of the airbags has died, US authorities announced the recall of 5 million vehicles with the faulty airbags company Takata.

In total, according to AFP, due to the faulty airbags in the United States, nine people were killed and another person was killed outside the country.
