The Ambassador of Sweden in Russia Peter Erickson commented on the searches in the offices of Oriflame. On Friday, the diplomat has arrived to the Central office of the Swedish company, which since morning had been cordoned off by security forces.
“Oriflame operates in more than 1,000 people, the investment is more than €150 million on the plant, which here in Russia produces. Thousands of sellers have been with Oriflame, millions of customers. I just don’t see how you can come close to the building without charges and without explanation,” said Erickson (quoted by the RBC).
On Friday law enforcement agencies cordoned off the Central office in Moscow. According to “Interfax”, the search was conducted in the Federal tax service and the Investigative Committee of Russia with the support of the FSB and the representatives of Rospotrebnadzor. It was noted that investigative actions are conducted not only at the head office at metro Sportivnaya, but also the main logistics centre in Noginsk situated near Moscow.
Oriflame Director of corporate Affairs in Russia and the CIS Sergey Bolshakov told RBC that the company unknown causes, which was cordoned off the headquarters of our company.
