Negotiators in Doha will meet again in Russia in October

Re meeting of oil-producing countries, which on Sunday will take part in negotiations in Doha, scheduled for October and to be held in Russia. This writes Reuters, citing a draft of the agreement.

According to the Agency, the draft document envisages freezing production at the January level to 1 October. After that, the producers will hold a second meeting in Russia in October to inspect your progress in a “gradual recovery in the oil market,” the document says.

In the draft agreement also States that oil producers are planning to further develop collaborative consultation to support the oil market. Presumably, the agreements reached in Doha will be able to join other States.

Reuters stresses that a final agreement had yet been reached, however, several senior sources in the oil ministries of the countries-participants of the meeting told the Agency that they are optimistic about the transaction.

The negotiators in Qatar to sign an agreement to freeze production until October at the level of January 2016 on the eve of the Minister of energy of Azerbaijan Aliyev Natia. “The draft agreement is small. It reads as follows: countries who gathered in Doha, came to the conclusion that in order to clean up oil prices they agreed to maintain production until October at the level of January 2016”, – said the Minister.

The previous day, Reuters reported that during a meeting in Doha will not accept the participation of Iran. According to the Agency, Tehran has been warned that to participate in the negotiations allowed only those countries that agree to freeze.

On the eve of Aliyev in a conversation with TASS reminded that Iran wants to raise production and is a member of the Organization of countries-exporters of oil (OPEC). In this regard, according to him, the question of increased production by Tehran can be adjusted within the organisation, revising the total quota.
