President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Tuesday is waiting to create a new parliamentary coalition and a new candidate for the post of Prime Minister following the resignation of Arseniy Yatsenyuk. He said this in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels, extracts from which cites “Interfax”.
“Those deputies are responsible, I hope their will be a majority in Parliament that they will provide a coalition, it must be Tuesday that they will make me a candidate for Prime Minister”, — said Poroshenko.
The Ukrainian leader also stressed that will work with any Prime Minister. Along with this he stated that he expects to introduce the post of Prime Minister the candidacy of Vladimir Groisman. “Besides, I expect that the Parliament will vote the programme of action of the government”, — said Poroshenko.
Yatsenyuk announced his resignation earlier on Sunday, the broadcast of “10 minutes with Prime Minister”. “Starting today, you can see your tasks are wider than the powers of the head of the government,” he said, adding that the proposal on his resignation will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on April 12. According to Yatsenyuk, to take the decision to resign from his post it has prompted a political crisis in the country.
