Panama will create a Commission to review its financial policy

President of Panama Juan Carlos Varela said that his government will create an independent Commission to review the financial policy of the country after the release of “the Panama document”. It is reported Reuters.

As he said, the government will establish the Commission, with the assistance of the Panamanian Ministry of foreign Affairs. Its membership will include both Panamanian and international experts.

The President said that the Commission will be established to “evaluate our current practice and to propose measures, which we will share with other countries in order to strengthen the transparency of financial and legal systems”.
