The Kremlin decided not to interfere in the business of wearing t-shirt with Putin footballer

In the Kremlin do not intend to interfere with penalty imposed by UEFA to the football player of “Locomotive” Dmitry Tarasov for a t-shirt with the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The journalists said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports “Interfax”.

“There are rules, and in this case we do not consider it possible to intervene in these rules,” — said the representative of the Kremlin.

“We have the same respect for the emotions of the athlete, but also to the rules of football institutions, football authorities,” he added.

Earlier Friday, the Union of European football federations (UEFA) has fined Tarasova on €5 thousand for the demonstration of the t-shirts with images of Vladimir Putin after the match with the Turkish team fenerbahçe, which took place on 16 February in Istanbul.

After the match, Tarasov took game Jersey, under which he had a t-shirt with the image of the head of state and the inscription “the Most polite President.” Later the player explained that such act wanted Putin to Express support and respect, and in the Kremlin declined to comment on the incident.
