At the mine in the Komi Republic 55 miners evacuated after reports of fire

The MOE received a message about a fire at the mine “INTA” in the Komi Republic. As a result there were 55 miners evacuated, anybody from them has not suffered. About it reports regional EMERCOM of Russia.

As later reported the MOE, the fire was found. It is noted that the operation of the mine was temporarily suspended. As explained TASS in the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Komi, the miners were at a depth of 191 meters. They provide psychological assistance.

Three weeks ago, February 25, at the Severnaya mine in the Komi Republic there was an explosion of methane. At the moment in mine there were 111 people, on the surface managed to get 81 working. As a result of explosion four persons were lost, 26 more were trapped underground. On the night of 28 February, there was a new explosion — his victims were five rescuers and one miner. Later the Ministry of emergency situations reported that the chances of survival of the blocked underground workers. Thus, the total death toll reached 36 people. The decision was made to flood the mine.
