The trade surplus Russia in January fell to $8.5 billion

The positive balance of trading balance of the Russian Federation in January 2016 reached $8.5 billion, which is roughly half the result, shown a year earlier, according to the FCS, reports “Interfax”.

“The trade balance was positive at $8.5 billion, $8.4 billion less than in January 2015”, stated in the message service.

Foreign trade turnover of Russia in January 2016 amounted to us $26.7 billion and compared with January-2015 has fallen by 32.8%.

According to the FCS, by the end of 2015, the surplus of foreign trade balance of Russia has decreased by approximately 23.75 per cent from $211,164 billion to $161,023 billion.

The export from Russia in 2015 decreased compared with the previous year by about 31% (from $497,8 billion to $343,4 billion), and imports 36,34% (from $to 286.7 billion to $182,4 billion).
